I need a knitting bag. I've been keeping my knitting in a big plastic salad bowl, but it isn't very portable. I'd like to be able to take it with me... to the park, in the car. You know. To keep my hands busy so that my mouth doesn't get me into trouble!
I'm compiling a list of bag patterns here.

I've made several booga bags (I see you've linked the pattern in another post) and they're really easy... you don't have to stick to the pattern that faithfully either, it's very forgiving. I suggest if you're going to use it for knitting projects that you make it larger than suggested. Mine's about that size and it only fits my smaller projects. I made one for my knitting projects out of scraps left over from gifts for friends. It's a nice reminder of why I knit. If you want to talk knitting at all, come give me a visit!
Hi Diane :) I noticed that the measurements of the booga bag were a bit on the small side, so I planned to make it bigger :) I'm not sure just how much bigger I'm going to make it, but I am not starting it until I finish my son's blanket.
