I was worried it would be really dark, but with the lighter striped squares, it brightens it up a bit. I think it is going to look really good when it is done.

I'm about half way through the 9 patch squares. Hopefully I'll be finished them tonight so I can press the seams at the same time as I do ironing for my husband!
